An antique blue and white ceramic plaque featuring a hand-painted European street scene. The piece is signed with the initial 'F' and dated 1890. It has been framed in Wellington by the historic framers McGregor Wrights of 182 Lambton Quay between 1913 and 1930, presented in a stained wooden frame with 'Dillen' noted on the paper backing.
Condition: Excellent - distinct crazing visible throughout the tile; minor wear to the wooden frame.
