A pair of pressed glass candlestick with a strong Art Deco sensibility. Each stands on a stepped hexagonal base that tapers into a faceted column.
Pressed glass candlesticks of this geometric form were produced across the United States, Britain, and Europe through the 1930s to 1950s, and the stepped hexagonal base and faceted stem place these firmly in the Art Deco tradition.
They would look equally at home on a mantle, dining table, or bedroom dresser.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs visible. Glass clear and bright with no cloudiness or scratching.
