Royal Doulton Persian Pattern Jardiniere Planter
A striking Royal Doulton jardinière in the Persian pattern: parakeets in yellow and blue perch and flit through a dense tangle of foliage, pink flowers, and curling vines, all on a cream ground with fine crackle glaze. The rim is edged in green.
Jardinieres in this form were made to be seen as much as used - displayed on a hall table or sideboard, housing a planted pot, filling a corner with colour.

Condition: Good overall. Some wear to the pattern surface consistent with age. Hairline cracks present on the base - not visible from the exterior. Best suited to use as a cover pot rather than for direct planting or water.
