Please reach out if there's a specific amount you have in mind as we can create a custom gift card for you.
Our gift certificates can be used online (and at our Nelson small studio, appointment only) and can be used to buy anything the receiver desires. You can select any amount between $30 and $500.
The Workers Cottage Gift Certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Gift Certificates cannot be refunded or cashed in.

Shipping is based on the size of your item and whether your address is Urban or Rural.

Extra Small:
For light items e.g. letters, textiles, postcards.
Small:
e.g. small vases, books, small ceramics.
Medium:
e.g. small lamps, medium-sized artworks, medium vases.

Oversized pieces, e.g., very large lamps, large pieces of framed art, mirrors, lightshades.
We offer simple, flat-rate shipping across New Zealand. Please email us with your postal address to get a shipping quote if you are an international customer.
If you require overnight shipping (or are Nelson based and require something on the same day) please email with details.
We use trusted couriers including NZ Post and Aramex, and carefully package every order. If you have a preference for courier, please leave a note in the checkout.

Please know that when you buy from The Workers Cottage, you’re purchasing an object that has already lived a life.
All of our pieces are antique or vintage, and timeworn, and will naturally show signs of age and use. This patina is part of their charm and story.
We do our best to photograph and describe each item clearly, including any notable imperfections. If you would like more detail, additional photos or videos can be provided before purchase -just get in touch.
All sales are final.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
