Decoration: Off-white ironstone with black transferware featuring urns, scrolling foliage, architectural borders, and mythical figures; richly detailed Victorian design.

Dating & provenance: Produced by Burgess & Leigh while occupying the Hill Pottery works in Burslem (1867–1899). The end of the diamond registration mark in places this example in the later window, circa 1884–1899.

Dimensions: 46cm length × 37cm width

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light crazing, glaze mottling and a slight transfer misalignment that adds authenticity.
