Vintage Indian Melon Form Metal Vase
A vintage melon-form vase made from shaped panels of silver-toned metal. Each segment is joined by a raised seam of brass solder, and the silvered surface has oxidised in patches to a mottled darker tone. From my research it was made in India. The vase sits on a short foot beneath a narrow neck and rolled rim, and is not watertight, so suits dried stems rather than fresh flowers.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Wear to the silvered finish throughout and a few dents, see photos.
