Vintage Mother of Pearl Mosaic Domed Box
A small rectangular box with a domed lid, veneered entirely in mother of pearl set in an irregular mosaic pattern. The pieces catch the light differently depending on the angle. The brass hinges are simple and well-fitted, and the interior is lined with a plain cream fabric. Looks particularly lovely on a dressing table or bedside.
Condition: Some staining spots visible on the base exterior and on the interior lining fabric. The mother of pearl surface on the lid and sides is intact with no visible losses or lifting. Brass hinges are functional and show expected age patina. Interior lining is clean aside from the noted staining.
Dimensions: 18.5cm wide x 11.5cm deep x 5cm high.
