A very lovely Victorian-era metal planter with a deeply aged surface.
This square vessel rests on four distinct claw feet and features embossed floral swag details on one face. The heavy patination, a mix of dark oxidisation and rust tones, gives it a wonderful industrial, wabi-sabi aesthetic.
While originally designed as a planter, it is no longer water tight so should be used as a cover pot or as a desk tidy, etc
Condition: Heavily patinated vintage condition. The metal shows significant signs of age, including surface rust and wear that contributes to its character. Please note: This vessel is not watertight. If using for fresh plants, a glass or plastic liner may be required, or a plate underneath.
