Cast Brass Dog
A solid cast brass figure of a standing dog, modelled in the round on a naturalistic rocky base. The casting carries fine detail through the coat and feathering, with soft green verdigris spreading across the body and base against a warm brown tarnish.
The reverse is flat, allowing the piece to be screwed to a door, skirting or panel and used as a door stop or wall mount.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate patina. Verdigris and tarnish throughout, with a small casting flaw near the rear leg, see photos.
