A charming piece of English Art Deco pottery by Crown Ducal, this sunny yellow glazed bowl comes complete with its original flower frog insert. The wide, gently sloping bowl features the characteristic concentric ribbing typical of Crown Ducal's interwar production, finished in a warm ivory-yellow glaze with a high-shine finish. The pierced flower frog sits neatly into the centre, making this a fully functional as well as decorative piece.
Crown Ducal was a respected Staffordshire pottery operating from the early 20th century, well regarded for their colourful Art Deco tableware and decorative pieces.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some minor glazing imperfections consistent with age and manufacture. One hairline crack present on the underside base of the flower frog - not visible from above or during display. Does not affect structural integrity or use.
