Crown Lynn jugs like this were a fixture of New Zealand kitchens and tables from the 1940s through the 1960s, made at the Crown Lynn works in New Lynn, Auckland. The shape number 828 is impressed on the base
Condition: Good vintage condition with allover fine crazing to the glaze, consistent with age and part of the piece's charm. Chips to the base as shown in the photographs, reflected in the price.
