Framed Constable Branch Hill Pond Print in Vintage Gilt Frame
A framed print after John Constable set behind a linen mount. The scene is Branch Hill Pond, Hampstead, an open heath landscape under a stormy streaked sky with a lone horseman and small figures by the water. Painted by John Constable in 1822, the composition belongs to his series of Hampstead Heath studies. The print is housed in a handmade vintage gilt frame with a fabric linen matting surround.
Condition: Good vintage condition.
Dimensions: 24 cm wide x 31 cm high
Please note since taking these photos I have had a framer remove the O ring at the top and add a proper hanging cord at the back.
