A lovely example of Staffordshire pottery by Grimwades. This piece from the 'Alliance' range features a deep teal blue rim that offers a bold pop of colour rarely seen in traditional blue and white collections.
While it has served many meals in its lifetime, its true calling now is vertical. It would look lovely as the focal point in a curated plate wall arrangement.
Condition Report:
Vintage condition with stories to tell. The gold rim has rubbed off over decades of use, and there are visible cutlery marks and age spots throughout.
