A large set of blue and white transferware bowls and plates by Wood & Sons, produced in Burslem, England. Classic underglazed ironstone transferware with a scalloped decorative border and rich cobalt botanical detail at centre. Vibrant blue, glossy glaze, and a pleasing weight.

The set includes four large dinner plates, three lunch plates, five side plates (one has a small chip), and five dessert plates.

Condition: Good - minor signs of age and use, light cutlery scratches, one small chip to one side plate only.
