This playful mid-century atomic hat and coat rack was made in New Zealand circa 1970. Inspired by iconic George Nelson and Eames designs, it balances functionality with a quirky, sculptural aesthetic.
Crafted from polished steel with pine ball details, the stand features a tall slender shaft, three adjustable arms, and a stable powder-coated base in soft pinkish white/cream. The pine balls have been finished with beeswax, enhancing the warmth of the wood.
A fabulous statement piece for a hallway, living room, or studio - ideal for hats, coats, and bags.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor rusting and scratches to paintwork. Pine balls restored with beeswax.
